My personal favorite! Me and my other half love to pick a cabin for a few days at a time in Bright. You see, I love camping, but she loves to stay in style, so when I first took her to Bright, what better choice for the both of us. You have the benefit of air conditioning in the summer, and heating in the much colder months, plus the comfort of having a cosy roof over your head and all the right amenities.

Being very centralized, and offering a range of facilities such as free barbecues, an onsite laundry, its own kiosk, and even wireless internet access in public areas (just remember that you are on holiday though ladies and gents!), this holiday park has become quite a popular place to stay over the years. Freeburgh Cabins and Caravan Park is located only minutes from Bright, and located very close to the historic township of Harrietville. Situated on the banks of the Ovens River, and highly regarded as a top quality family park, all sites are surrounded by mature deciduous trees that provide good shade in the warmer summer months, and the trademark colors in Autumn. Cabins on site are positioned as to yield brilliant views of the surrounding peaks towards Mt Feathertop and the Mt Hotham Ski Resort. Facilities include free barbecues, an on site laundry, a swimming pool (apart from being located beside the Ovens River which is lovely to swim in!), a tennis court and playground, plus laundry facilities.
