There are many runs at Mt Buffalo including designated toboggan runs at Dingo Dell and Cresta Valley, 14 kilometers of well maintained cross country trails at Cresta Valley catering for all grades of experience, and a further 20 kilometers of the more remote and unmarked trails for those who love their back country skiing.

The appearance of wildflowers signifies the beginning of the warmer months as animals return the the plateau.
